The RCIA is a process whereby those interested in learning about the Catholic faith come together on a weekly basis to learn about the scriptures and the teachings of the Catholic Church, and at the same time, to discover where God is present in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RCIA takes place within a parish community in company with others on a similar journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process is designed for those adults who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Unbaptised<\/li><li>Baptised in another tradition<\/li><li>Baptised Catholic, but with no further religious training or sacraments.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, contact the Parish office on 9607 8760 or via email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:admin@sfxlurnea.org.au\">admin@sfxlurnea.org.au<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Becoming Catholic The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) group at St. Francis Xavier Lurnea is responsible for preparing adults who wish to become Catholics.
